The Safe Removal Method
- Don’t Crush: Resist the urge!
- Use the Vacuum: The best way to remove them is with a vacuum cleaner.
- The Stocking Trick: To keep them out of your vacuum bag, secure a knee-high nylon stocking around the vacuum hose nozzle with a rubber band. Vacuum up the beetles, and they will be trapped in the stocking. You can then release them outside (far away from the house) or dispose of them.
The Real Solution: Prevention Vacuuming is a chore you’ll have to repeat daily if you don’t stop them from entering. Asian Lady Beetles enter through tiny cracks around windows, doors, and rooflines.
